In this two-part Intuitive Painting workshop taught by me (Christina!), I will help you tap into your creative flow with ease. We will focus on making art for the sake of the process while removing judgement and quieting your inner critic. Together, we will go on an art history deep dive and learn about esoteric artists throughout history (especially Hilma AF Klint - one of my all time faves!) who used mysticism and channeling to create their artworks.

This workshop will be an exploration into a practice I hold near and dear. Through studying some of the first modern abstract painters, we will learn how they approached art making as a form of spiritual connection and mystical channeling. We will adopt some of the practices they used and we will experiment collaboratively in order to get out of our comfort zones while painting. In our second class, we will receive personal oracle cards meant to inform our creative practice and give us a sense of intention while working on our final 11×14 painting on canvas.

Snacks, beverages, and all other materials will be provided, but bring your own sketchbook if you have one!
