Join me (Christina!) for a ‘Still Life and Symbolism’ acrylic painting workshop in my studio.

❤️ This is a special Valentine’s edition of the workshop and we’re rewriting the script! ❤️

Instead of seeking love and romance solely from a partner, we will be focusing on honoring and celebrating our relationship with ourselves. The subject matter we will be painting will all have symbolic meaning as the components and ingredients of a love spell - a love spell for self-love!

I will begin the workshop by giving a brief art history presentation on how symbolism has historically been used in still life painting, before explaining the items and significance we will be painting.

There will also be sometime for writing and reflection, before working on our 6×8” acrylic paintings on canvas panels (see second image for reference.)

This workshop is for all skill levels and for adults 18 and older.

Snacks, NA beverages, and all materials will be provided. (If there is anything you would like to bring to add to your still life painting, feel free! *As long as it is relatively small/tabletop size and won’t be obtrusive to the other guests.)
